Meet Our Staffs
Rainbow Orphanage Staff
Mr. Pean
Position: Founder/Director
Pean was born in 1977 and on completing his high school education and undergoing Teacher Training taught for (1997- 2005) before (in order to support his family,) he moved into the hospitality industry working in hotels, travel agency. In 2005, with the help of friends, former teachers and villagers he made a commitment to provide a home and education for a small number of orphans and abandoned children in the countryside. In 2007 he registered the Working for Children charity and established the Orphanage on its present site - using a piece of land he had inherited from his family. Thanks to the support of friends and the donations both of individuals and some of his contacts in the Hospitality industry the Orphanage has developed as a permanent, secure and loving home for 34 children aged between 6 and 16. He has surrounded himself with a dedicated team of local people who, on a part time and often voluntary basis, have provided the care and the services needed to give these children a real opportunity in the new Cambodia.
