So how can you help

how-can-you-help-1Currently we have 34 children in residence at Rainbow Orphanage - and we provide some educational assistance to another 80 children in the surrounding community.

We rely ENTIRELY on donations, from passing visitors to the Angkor Wat Temples, from a small group of local hotels and guest houses, and overseas visitors like yourself who may wish to make a once-off or a regular donation when you arrive back home.

Think about getting a few friends together and telling them about the work we are doing - and the difference their donation will make.

We have several projects we wish to implement to make life better for these children but our primary needs are still those related to  the  provision of food supplies, clothing, medical care and the education of the children in the orphanage - and that’s directly where the money goes.

example: A 50K  bag of rice costs US$25. With three meals a day this lasts two and a half days. We need 145 bags annually (= US$3,625) to supplement our own supplies of vegetables, fish and fruit.

Always contact Mr Pean on

If you are in Cambodia and visiting Siem Reap and Angkor Wat - why not spend a day with us.

Meet the children and have a look at the work we are doing. Join in the activities, let the children practice their English, read a story, teach them some new songs, show them some new crafts. Perhaps stop along the way at the market and bring along a bag of seasonal fruit - this is always welcome .

Volunteering your time provides a valuable interaction for these children. It is your interest and enthusiasm, as much as your skills, that we welcome.

But your donations in cash are always welcome. Perhaps, having seen the Orphanage, you may wish to indicate how you would like the money to be directed -  ie school uniforms,  school fees and stationary, mosquito nets, sleeping mats, personal health care items, a bicycle etc.

If you are visiting as part of a group - don’t hesitate to call
