Donations for a better future:
While donations allow the orphanage to run and to provide a roof over the children, it is simply not enough to provide every child in the orphanage a proper education. As donation amounts fluctuates from year to year, we can only select a limited number of top students per year to continue their studies to the next level.
For your valuable donation can ensure that a child will be cared for and will not miss the chance to study. The donation you provide will also cover a year of a child’s expenses in the orphanage. This amount covers:
+ Primary school children from ( Grade 1 to Grade 6) US $70 each year per child .
+ Secondary School ( Grade 7 to Grade 9):
- From grade 7 to grade 8: US $ 190 each year per child.
- The grade 9 need US $ 220 each year per child.
+ High school from garde 10 to grade 12 need US $ 780 each year per child.
This amount is inclusive of basic school fees for the whole year, all necessary textbooks, stationery, examination fees and 2 sets of school uniform and shoes, extra class for Maths, Khmer, science, chemistry, biology and a bicycle for who is moving to secondary school & High school.
Living Needs USD$ 86
This amount covers clothing, shoes, washing powder, shampoo and personal hygiene needs including towels, toiletries and medical supplies.
Meals USD$ 277
This amount contributes to the basic nutritional needs by providing three meals for the child. Recently we offer for each meal, we choose different ingredients such fish, vegetable, eggs pork and beef in order to offer a balanced and provide a dessert such as fruits, sugar potatoes and pumpkins… twice per week.
The children in the orphanage wish to be active contributors in their own communities. They know that by giving back to their fellow Cambodian community, they can improve their living condition.
By sponsoring a child, you are fulfilling a child’s wish to improve the local communities to achieve self-sustainability.
Now we have opened a special Educational Scholarship Account for the benefit of donors who wish to direct money to meet the educational needs of the older children.
