Akids (Assisting Kids In Developing Skills) School is a new project of WFC. Akids school provides FREE education in languages including Khmer, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Sewing, and Computer skills to help meet the needs of particularly poor children from the surrounding countryside. This project was started in 2007 with school classes organized underneath the tree next to the boys' dormitory. We now have a permanent structure on the grounds of the Rainbow Orphanage. The new building in collaboration with Larven School for all Children Sponsors by TREV JAK Change For Cambodia 2015.
Akids school welcomes volunteers, whether it is a short or long time to get involved and assist in the teaching of English and computer skills. It is an opportunity to truly immerse yourself in the Cambodian countryside while making a difference in the lives of some of the poorest children in the region. We know the experience you have will be as valuable for you as it will be for the students. Any help would be greatly appreciated by both the children and community. We hope to work together with you, with everyone sharing the same passion in line with os towards a better future for Cambodian children.
